The Policy Administration Fee is separate from the insurance premium (the cost of actual coverage), and no commission is paid on this fee. This fixed amount accounts for key operational and administrative expenses, including:
- Underwriting report costs
- Policy production costs
- Billing costs
- Inspection costs
Note: The Policy Administration Fee can not be waived.
Fee Application & State Variations
- Billing Schedule: Applied to the annual premium at new business and upon each subsequent renewal.
- Varying Amounts: Fee amounts differ by state.
Note: We offer a reduced Policy Admin fee for those who opt into paperless.
State Exceptions
- Delaware: No Policy Administration Fee applies for policies quoted on or after 4/23/2026 or renewals generated on or after 6/23/2026.
