How Do I Create a Quote?

Providing inaccurate applicant information may result in cancellation or coverage impact. We require applicants to be individuals rather than legal entities for the quote creation process. If you discover any inaccuracies before issuing the policy, we recommend re-quoting the policy.

To create a new quote:

  1. Click New Quote.
  2. Enter the required information.

  • If the auto-populated address does not match the physical address, you can manually enter the address by clicking Can't Find Address. The address can be updated until you click Create.

  1. Double-check all information for accuracy before clicking Create. You can click Reset at the bottom of the screen if any information is incorrect. Once the quote is created, you cannot change the applicant information.
  2. If we cannot provide a rate with the information provided, we will request the last four digits of the applicant's Social Security Number (SSN). Should the applicant not possess an SSN, then 0000 may be entered in its place.
  3. Once we have all the information to create the quote, you can move forward with updating the policy information.

You may be required to enter additional information about the home to generate the quote.

A quote expires after 45 days. The quote proposal expires after 30 days unless there is a change to the quote and is not a binder of coverage. The price and coverage estimates are based on the information provided for the quote. Pricing, coverage, and coverage availability could change until the policy is purchased and all information is confirmed.

Once the quote is created, you can download and print a copy of the quote proposal. For instructions, check out How Do I Print a Copy of the Quote? When you're ready to issue the policy, see How Do I Request Bind?
