Configuring PL Rating for quoting requires more than just your login credentials. This guide will help you obtain your access key and finalize the integration of Openly into your PL Rating.
Note that PL Rater (Vertafore) is not available for setup in all states.

Do Not use Internet Explorer for this process, as the Openly Agent Portal does not support it. We recommend using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
1. Log in to the Portal.
2. Click on the Settings button, which you can find by clicking on your picture in the upper right of the Portal.
3. Click on the Raters & IVANS tab.
4. Under the Vertafore header, click on the Generate Key button. A box titled Access Key Created will appear.
5. DO NOT close this box until the Access Key is copied. If you accidentally close it, you can click the Delete Key button to generate a new key. Each agent should have their own key to associate with their Openly credentials.
6. Go to PL Rating.
7. You will see that Openly is not yet set up to rate. Select Openly, and enter your login credentials.
- Your username is the email address you used to sign up with Openly.
- The password is the access key you can copy and paste from the Openly Integrations section.
- The Agency Code requested by PL Rating can be any non-empty value, as Openly does not currently use it.
8. Click Save. Your rater should show Openly as enabled for rating. Green means you're able to begin quoting.
