To add or remove a carrier from your PL Rating™ account, complete the following steps:
1. Log on to PL Rating™ as the Agency Administrator user.
2. From the Admin menu, select Manage Agency Information. The Agency Information page appears.
3. Click the Carriers tab.
4. Select the carriers/markets to be added for that state and line of business (choose Home for Openly).
5. Verify the changes are correct in the summary and click Finish.
Manage Real-Time Passwords (Classic)
Each user must enter the carrier credential information at their workstation. PL Rating™ stores real-time passwords on the local workstation, so any additional workstations (laptop, home, etc.) used by users must also have their passwords entered and configured on those workstations.
Entering Real-Time Passwords:
1. From the Admin menu, click Manage Real-Time Passwords.
2. Select the appropriate carrier from the Insurance Carrier Site drop-down list.
3. Enter the required information. Click Save.
4. Repeat for any additional carriers.
Manage Real-Time Passwords (VSSO)
For VSSO users of PL Rating™, carrier credentials are stored in Credential Manager (cloud storage). This feature lets you log on to PL Rating™ from any workstation and use your credentials.
Sometimes, your VSSO Admin may need to enter your credentials or provide you access to enter your credentials.
Entering Real-Time Passwords:
1. To add credentials, click Manage Real-Time Passwords from the Admin menu in PL Rating™. The Credential Manager page appears. Each individual user must enter the credential information for a carrier at their own workstation.
2. Select the appropriate carrier from the Insurance Carrier Site drop-down list.
3. Enter the required information. Click Save.
4. Repeat for any additional carriers.
