How Do I File a Claim?

At Openly, we pride ourselves on being there for our policyholders in the unfortunate event of a loss. 

Policyholders may file a claim online by filling out the requested information in this form.

They may also file a claim by calling their agent to submit it on their behalf or by calling (888) 808-4842 and selecting Option 2. Claims questions may be directed to claims@openly.com.

Agents may also file a claim on the Portal. To do so:

  1. Navigate to the policy by clicking the Search button in the Portal's sidebar and input the property address, insured name, or policy number. Once the policy appears, click Manage.

  1. Within the Agent Dashboard, click Claims. To begin the claims process, click File Claim. The Claims Quick Links connect you to an explanation of the claims process and to emailing the Claims team.
  2. Add any additional contact information, preferred contact methods and relevant notes. Click Next.

  1. Add the damage information for the loss, a description of what happened, and any pertinent documents. Once done, click Next.

  1. Check all the information added concerning the loss on the Review tab. Once satisfied all the information is complete and correct, click Submit Claim.

  1. You will be given the claim number. Make sure to copy this number for the policyholder.
