The Policy tab in the Openly Portal provides a comprehensive overview of coverage and property details for an insured address. Agents can view:
- Coverage Limits: Specific policy caps and protections.
- Premium Details: Costs including any applied savings, such as the Auto in Agency discount.
- Property Details: Structural and foundational information on file for the insured location.
Tip: Look for the Question Mark Helper (?) icon next to coverage line items for quick definitions and helpful tooltips.
Policy Date Picker
View policy information at any specific point in time by selecting View policy as of date. When you first open a policy, the system automatically displays the most relevant information based on the policy's status:
- Active Policies: Automatically displays information effective as of today’s date.
- Future Effective Policies: Automatically displays details for the upcoming effective date.
- Expired Policies: Automatically displays details from the final day of coverage.
You can manually adjust the date picker to track a policy throughout its lifecycle. This makes it simple to:
- Review historical changes made to the policy over time.
- Preview upcoming renewal information (as soon as it becomes available).
- Verify exact coverage details for specific past or future dates.
