Setting Up EZLynx® Rater with Openly

Setting up EZLynx® to quote with Openly requires generating a unique access key from your Openly Agent Portal and linking it to your EZLynx® account.

 

Availability and Requirements

Note: Do not use Internet Explorer for this process, as the Openly Agent Portal does not support it. We strongly recommend using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.

 

Supported States

EZLynx® Rater is not available for setup in all locations. It is currently supported in the following states:

Status States
Available AL, AZ, CT, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MA, MS, MO, NH, NM, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, UT, VA, WI.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow the step-by-step guide below to complete the integration.

 

Part One: Generate Your Openly Access Key

Before configuring EZLynx®, you must generate a secure key within your Openly account.

  1. Log into the Openly Agent Portal.
  2. Click the Settings button, found by clicking on your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner of the portal. 

     

  3. Select the Raters & IVANS tab.

  4. Locate the EZLynx® section and click the Generate Key button.

  5. An Access Key Created dialog box will appear.

Note: Do not close this box until you have copied the Access Key. If you accidentally close it before copying, click the Delete Key and generate a new one. Each individual agent must have their own unique key associated with their Openly credentials.

 

Part Two: Configure Openly in EZLynx® Rater

Once you have copied your Access Key, open a new browser window or tab to update your rater settings.

  1. Log into your EZLynx® account.
  2. Navigate to the EZLynx® Settings page by hovering over the Gear Icon on the left side of the toolbar.


     

  3. From the drop-down menu, click Carrier Quoting Setup.
  4. Locate Openly Inc. under the Carrier Name heading and click Set Login.
    • Note: If your screen looks slightly different, your agency might be utilizing a newer version of the EZLynx® interface.
  5. In the Set Carrier Login pop-up window, configure the following fields:
    • Username/Email: Enter the exact email address you use to log into your Openly Portal.
    • Access Key: Paste the key code you copied in part one.

       

  6. Click Save and Test. You will see paw prints move across the screen while your integration credentials are verified. 

     

  7. Once verification is successful, EZLynx® will display a green check mark under your Login Status
