Payment Collection Processes
- Mortgage Escrow: An invoice is sent directly to the mortgagee 60 days prior to the renewal effective date (timeline subject to state requirements).
- EFT or Credit Card: Openly automatically charges the account on the renewal effective date, provided a signed payment authorization form is on file. Policyholders receive a reminder notice 10 days before the draft date (agents are copied for reference). If no authorization form is received, a direct bill notice is issued instead.
